In this fishing trip, an exceptionnal event happened: a duck cam near us instead of getting away. Normally when we would ride the boat near a wildlife, it would turn away from us. That night, we were iddeling along the shore of the bay with our lines in the water. All of a sudden, we were startled by a sound of splashing water: it was the duck landing in the water near the boat ! Let me tell you it was quite a surprise… Then, as we continued our ride along the shore, the duck swam along the boat, following us ! It couldn’t quite keep up with the boat and was loosing 
distance. When that happened, it flew up and landed again alongside the boat !!!
We were wandering why it would dare to fly towards us and were wandering we it would do such a thing. We figured it might want something from us. My friend thought that maybe it wanted some food from us. We still had some earthworm from that fishing day so he started to throw some at the duck. It would gulp them happily, while trying to keep up with us then fly/land again…
That little amusement went on for a while until something funny 
happened: we went out of earthworm. What made it funnier/creapier, it was the fact that as soon as my friend said: that’s it, I don’t have anymore earthworm, the duck turned away a flew back in the woods… It was like the duck had read minds and understood that we were out of food for him !
