The grain auger

grain auger-Web

grain auger-WebIn the summer of 2014, I drove around my area and photographed several barns on surises/sunsets. This year, I was a little more “quiet” and did encourage oil companies! There was that wedding I photographed and spent the rest of the time on holiday photos (which I’ll maybe tell the story in pictures soon!) and a few outings.

I must say that I missed these little expeditions. So at the beginning of October, I decided at the last minute (without much preparation) to make a little trip to take pictures. Oh I had done some research on Google so I could have a direction to go but no plan B. Once there, the view did not seem too promising. So I kept driving in the vicinity of Mont St-Grégoire but in the meantime, the sun had time to rise.

Between Mont St-Grégoire and St-Alexandre, I saw this grain auger and I stopped. I placed my camera close to the ground so that the screw blocks the sun in part. This allows greater flexibility for HDR with less extreme since the sun would not be a hot point in the photo. So I got a beautiful HDR with nice textures.
