It’s a little known fact that I have a thing for sunsets! Sometimes there is that perfect combination that produces a blanket of clouds that has a small opening at the end that lets just enough of the sun to poke through. When that happens, the sky gets that strong reddish color which gets deeper as the sun sets over the horizon.
It’s exactly what happened the other night when I made this picture. I was coming back from a ride to hunt for pictures. I witness the ongoing sunset and saw that it would be perfect for this kind of pictures. I framed the church and exposed for the brightest part so it could become a silhouette. That is the result of the “Fire in the sky” !
