I have fertile imagination! A small trigger starts the machine and my head goes into madness. That’s what happened this spring at a garage sales in my city. I arrived at a house where a man was selling a diving suit; at least, it’s what I had noticed at first sight. But looking closer, I realized it was a costume. It was enough to start the fireworks in my head!
The seller told me he had made the disguise for an evening reunion with friends and had won the 1st prize. I was convinced, because the replica was good enough to make it interesting costume.
I stored the thing in the shed and give some time to establish my plan for THE picture.
This plan was put into execution in early August. I had to organize the logistics and choose a day when there would be a little texture of clouds in the sky. The canoe on the car, a place targeted by searching Google Maps to find a path with a left axis toward the sun and off we went! I installed my canoe, placed the model in it with the disguise. That is when the sun decided to go behind a big cloud band… 🙁
Then small miracle: the sun came out for about 2-3 minutes. I had just enough time to make some pictures! That’s when the photo was born: Diving in troubled waters!
