One evening I drove by St-Philippe de Laprairie. There was an extraordinary sky. I had no interesting topic and those that I found along my way, I had already photographed !!! There is a saying that there is always something to photograph and I try to believe it 😉
So that night, I was happy to see the wonderful sky but disappointed not to have a subject until… I pass this hangar of a private home and there was a wind indicator on top of it. I imagine that the owner owns a plane or helicopter. I had my topic!
Exposing for the sky, I knew that the building would be in silhouette. With the windsock, traces of planes in the sky, it would be enough to tell a story: fly by night!
