I am not always assiduous but as much as possible, I carry my camera when I go out for a walk. During that May evening, I was walking in my neighbourhood and noticed these clouds; the setting sun was hidden behind them. The effect of the rays pierced above them was interesting. I watched the show wondering how I could make a picture. Obviously, I could not go on forever since the phenomenon was in evolution with the clouds moving!
There was this lamppost; it gave me the impression that it was bent over to look (or trying to look) behind the clouds. Obviously, it is much easier to envision this by looking at the picture once it is done: there are only 2 dimensions!
