This season of landscape photos was quiet up to now but recently, I wanted to wander around and look for an image that I would like. Not easy to patrol areas already known and find a different point of view!
That day, I had left quite late contrary as I usually do. The sky looked promising with its mixture of clouds; I thought that the sunset wouldn’t be so bad. So I drove and drove through the back roads until I arrived in St-Philippe.
As curious as it was, I was practically on the outskirts of the village when I saw this tree and the wheat field from a glimpse. I turned around and parked on the side of the road. I walked back to find the right angle to take the picture: use the trees on the left to hide the houses a little and those on the right to hide the campsite!
In post-processing, I focused development on the feeling of a hot summer evening and have that atmosphere.
