My last visit was 2 years ago…
After this involuntary pose, I was eager to return and reconnect with nature, observe these charming landscapes. This area of happiness was sorely missed and I was also excited to be able to observe nature again in the “wild state”. This break from everyday life allows many things: disconnect from our daily madness, breathe fresh air, listen to silence and above all, take pictures!
As shown in the cover image, the first morning came with a calm weather and a cool temperature, thus giving way to a small film of fog evaporation to decorate the landscape. During this week, I took the opportunity to redo the classic photos of these changing facets landscapes!
The primary goal is fishing of course!
Since the sun sets approximately 1 hour later than the Montreal area, it is possible to watch the sunset longer and take pictures!
The other interesting part is the wild life that evolves around the camp and in the surrounding area. Fortunately, I had brought a long focal lens to allow me to capture these animals in action:
Of course, there is sometimes a gloomy weather that prevents us from going on a boat ride…
Nevertheless, this is the perfect opportunity to make more pictures!
After the rain the good weather as the saying goes (which is a truth of la Palisse: it’s the normal weather pattern course, otherwise, it simply would be a shitty time…!). This is the time to enjoy a walk in the forest and reach the path that was used for lumbering wood; but to be closer to the truth, a blanc cut. Fortunately, nature is strong enough to regain its right even though the opportunity can be used by moose hunters:
Needless to say that after this week in the zone of happiness, I was thrilled. I would even add that I was walking on the water! 😉
