In fact, it&#8217;s almost like a part of my body! It would be inconceivable to travel without my camera.<\/p>\n<p>This summer, I visited Abitibi, a region that I know quite a bit&#8230; On road 117, there are several towns, villages and cities. One of these places is practically at the entrance of the park De La Verendry. It&#8217;s named Lytton. Since it took more than 4 hours to cross the park (it was a gravel road), there were motels nearby. Obviously with the ever-growing competition, some did not survive. During my visits to Abitibi, I noticed this abandoned motel. At each pass I thought that I should stop and take a look. This year was the turning point: I HAD to make that stop and take my pictures!<\/p>\n<p>I spent about 1\/2 hour walking around the abandoned places. Given that there were no occupants, many misdeeds took place. This gave gloomy look to the site. At the end of the field, I watched the motel and I felt like in a horror movie by Alfred Hitchcock: the famous Bates Motel from Psycho. The emotion was supported by the cloudy\/rainy day. This is how this image was born.
