There are days when I want to relax and one way that allows me to do is to go out to take pictures! That Sunday November 2015, it was fine day and the sun shone. I took my camera and decided to take a walk in the old St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.<\/p>\n

I walked the streets without a clear goal in mind. \u00a0The idea was just to be impressed. I expected the little flash in my head that would make me stop in front of something, a place or other objects. Sometimes it’s only a signal that rings in my head and once stopped, I do not immediately see the “trigger”. This was the case for this photo down on Saint-Georges street. Once arrived at the edge of the water, I had the idea to pursue my route to Gouin Bridge. But I had this alarm in my head. So I observed the surroundings a few minutes before I noticed the shadow of electrical cables on that wall. I approached and looked for an interesting angle to emphasize the vanishing point with bricks and the shadows of the\u00a0cables coming down. And there I had it: a “relief” photo \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I continued my way to the waterfront and headed back to my car walking again on Saint-Georges street. In the parking lot of the funeral home, I noticed the shadow of the lamp pole. I felt like this was a person with outstretched arms, as if responding to a command: “Hands against the wall!”<\/p>\n

Come to think of it, I could have named this walk “the walk of shadows” …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
