To ensure the success of these discoveries, I sometimes borrow the alleys linking the streets and parks. On this back street, I was immediately drawn to the state of decay of the two garage doors. Stopping in front of the doors, the &#8220;composition machine&#8221; got into motion: doors in poor condition = textures; three doors side by side = an odd number, ideal in compositions; one of the garage door is new compared to other = contrast. It was clear in my mind that this would be a black and white picture !<\/p>\n<p>The difficulty in the photo was to find the location to take the picture: on the opposite of the garage were parked cars and I crept between them to try to correctly frame the garage doors. In addition, in order to include the three doors, I had to use a wide angle because the space opposite to the doors was not enough. The image was taken in color, raw (to allow a greater opportunity of development).
