It was a subject I had found on the road in the area of Lacolle. When I realized the magnitude of the situation, panic moved in! I knew what was going to happen: a phenomenon of &#8220;after rain&#8221; when the sky either turns orange or light up underneath with a red color. I had not foreseen this course. As I had not often visited the area for photography, I had not marked point of interest in regards of sunsets.<\/p>\n<p>While driving frantically, muttering &#8220;shit, shit, shit&#8221;, desperately seeking a backlit subject that would be interesting, I found myself on a gravel road in Hemmingford contemplating the unfolding of my disaster&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1856\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-300x153.jpg\" alt=\"Sky on fire 2\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-300x153.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-768x391.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-830x423.jpg 830w, https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-230x117.jpg 230w, https:\/\/www.fromoven.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Ciel-en-feu-2-350x178.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If only I had done research beforehand, I might have had a chance!
