In my urban walks, I happened to go by the Canada Square Park. It was at the end of April and warm days had begun. As it was late in the afternoon, the sun was at a low angle. There were these streaks of light peaking between buildings and monuments in this park. Obviously, since the hot weather were more frequent, people started attending public spaces.
During this march, I used the sidewalk alongside the park. That’s when I noticed a book at the top of the park bench; Moreover, sunlight illuminating the scene. So I retraced my steps and took a position close enough (read discrete steps on the grass!). By the time I was about to take my picture, the clouds blocked the sun … A few seconds of patience enabled me to seize this moment of relaxation with the sun embellishing the scene.
