An early morning awakening

One Sunday morning towards the end of September, I made it a mission to get up early and go make pictures. In my case, it is not always an easy mission to accomplish: I am not a morning person! Nevertheless, I embarked on the adventure.

I drove on a known route that I often used in search of images: La montée Singer in St-Philippe de Laprairie. The sun began to diffuse its typical dawn light: the orange band below the dark blue-sky gradient. It is a view that I never get tire of watching.

At the intersection of the Singer and St Mark’s road, I stopped and looked for a way to arrange my shot. I walked back and forth until I had the desired framing. This is the one I found most interesting: the small barn/shed framed by the electric line fleeing towards infinity.

This early morning awakening was worth it!
