This winter (for what winter we had!) snow was scarce and at the beginning of March, the fields were practically free of the whit blanket. That Saturday, there was a spring feeling in the air: the sun was shinning and the temperature had climbed above zero Celsius. Since I wasn’t going to hit the slopes, I hit the road! That’s where I saw this pile of apple crates stacked like a wall. I photographed them at an angle to make it interesting. Since the pattern was repeating itself, I thought it might be interesting in black and white. But once the conversion was done, I looked dull despite the enhanced development. So I opted for the color version with its warm hues that appealed much more to me!
