Taking a walk on a cloudy day, I found this leaf on the ground. Its form immediately attracted me: a heart. But on closer examination, it’s the contrast between the sweetness of nature and the asphalt that appealed to me. This contrast was also further emphasized by the fact that the leaf had undergone repeated passages that damaged it, like a heartache.
