One afternoon, as the sun was beginning to shine its heat, I went out after lunch and I walked in the neighbourhood near my workplace. The sky was blue from end to end, the sun high enough but still angled to generate shadows on the ground.
Reaching the sidewalk, there was this light pole with street name signs. It was that shadow that caught my attention: it reminded me of the old “7up” man add! Obviously, he did not move his arms and did not dance like the inflatable thing you see on the side of the roads. Except that it was dead on the sidewalk … 😉
