Now that spring has arrived, my photo outings will become easier then going out in the extreme cold. It will be a new season of car rides trying to find interesting landscape photos, and mostly: sunsets! There will also be a few sunrises but that take a greater motivation to wake early, especially since the sun rises sooner…
2 weeks ago, I went out after diner to find a suitable place in our rural areas for a sunset. 
Clouds were scarse and they cleared rapidly. While aiming for a destination I had researched, I saw that publicity panel along the way. I didn’t stop right away and it took me a few seconds (aka kilometers) to register what I had seen. In fact it was the title that came 1st: sunset on sales! I went back, found the right angle and made a series of images that I could combine in an HDR photo. Since I had a wide angle lens, I had to get down so the final image wouldn’t be distorted because I was close to the sign. In post-processing, I made the HDR and selected a panorama format because the sky wasn’t much interesting !
